The
North East coast of Zanzibar is known for its kilometres
of white sandy beaches, which go out very far at low tide,
making it difficult to swim, but very interesting to explore.
The
villages are called Matemwe, Kiwengwa, Pongwe, Uroa, Chwaka,
the most touristic one being Kiwengwa with its big resorts.
Coconut
trees are typical of that part of the coast, and in combination
with the white sand, just make us dream.
